“wading in without is a large scale sculptural installation, utilizing cast concrete platforms as ground, for a range of fabricated and found objects. Materials and forms are withdrawn directly from a dislodged and abstracted autobiographical narrative. Utilizing the artist’s childhood home as site and source, wading in without addresses broader notions around dislocation and longing, and the enduring persistence of the human spirit.”
